The Other Sedaris
It’s easy to see why Amy Sedaris would be over shadowed by her brother, The New York Times best selling author David Sedaris. But his sister Amy is equally entertaining and quirky. If your sense of humor is a little off, like mine, I suggest looking her up on YouTube. She’s had bit parts in numerous television shows and films, but is best known for the cult hit, Strangers With Candy. Amy penned a book awhile back titled “I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influence”, the book is all about entertaining. Imagine if Martha Stewart had a twisted sense of humor and took a lot of drugs, you’d have Amy. While I don’t actually recommend putting to use much of what is in the book, its pretty damn funny. She may not write as well as her brother, but she makes you feel just as awkward, and that’s “a good thing”.
